Connective Platform Rules and Terms
Revision dated 03.03.2026
1. General Provisions
These Rules and Terms of the Connective platform (hereinafter — "the Platform") apply to all registered users: businesses (Clients) and content creators (Creators). By registering and continuing to use the Platform, you confirm your agreement with these rules.
The Platform serves as a tool for organizing content creation workflows and project management. Connective is not an intermediary or a financial guarantor and bears no responsibility for obligations entered into between parties within a Workroom.
2. Registration and Roles
Upon registration, you select a role: Business or Creator. Your role determines your access to Platform features. You agree to use the Platform in accordance with your selected role and not to create multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing any restrictions.
Sign-in is provided via Google OAuth and Sign in with Apple (authentication is handled by Supabase). We collect only the necessary data — name, email, and UID — to ensure the security of your account and compliance with privacy-first standards.
3. Workroom and Digital Handshake
A Workroom is the central collaboration space for every project between a business and a creator. It progresses through four clearly defined stages: Negotiation → Execution → Review → Completion.
A Digital Handshake is the formal event within a Workroom where both parties confirm the project terms. Once completed, the budget, barter conditions, and deadlines become locked and binding.
Locked terms are mandatory for both parties. By submitting a Digital Handshake, you confirm that you have read and understood all terms outlined in the Workroom, and you commit to fulfilling them.
All actions within a Workroom are recorded in the Activity Log — a chronological record of events. This log may be referenced by either party in the event of a dispute.
4. Obligations of the Parties
Both parties agree to:
- comply with the terms locked via Digital Handshake;
- communicate and resolve disputes within the Platform's Workroom;
- deliver work results and feedback within the deadlines set in the agreed terms;
- leave mutual ratings and reviews upon project completion.
Moving communication or agreements outside the Platform (e.g., via Telegram or WhatsApp) is not prohibited; however, Connective bears no responsibility for any obligations made outside a Workroom, and such obligations carry no legal weight within the Platform.
5. Limitation of Liability
Connective is a project management tool, not a financial guarantor. The Platform does not process, guarantee, or control the actual exchange of funds or goods between parties.
We are not responsible for:
- failure by either party to fulfill monetary or barter obligations;
- the quality or timeliness of content or goods delivered;
- any disputes arising from agreements made through a Workroom;
- any harm caused by the actions or inactions of another party.
Each party independently assumes the risks associated with the obligations they enter into through the Platform.
6. Reputation Capital and Ratings
Reputation Capital is a public rating of each user, composed of scores, reviews, and project completion statistics. It is visible to other Platform users and directly impacts opportunities for future projects.
Upon completion of each Workroom, both parties are expected to leave mutual ratings based on the following criteria: communication, quality of work, and adherence to deadlines.
Consequences of violations:
- If a party fails to complete a project after a Digital Handshake has been locked, without a justified reason, a rating penalty will be applied. This penalty is public and permanent.
- Fake reviews, rating manipulation, or spam ratings are prohibited and constitute grounds for account suspension.
7. Content as Currency
Creators can unlock access to the Platform — instead of paying a subscription — by creating and uploading a promotional video for Connective (hereinafter — the "Connective Challenge").
By submitting a video through the Connective Challenge, you grant the Platform a royalty-free, irrevocable license to use that content in Connective's marketing and promotional materials — including publication on social media, the Platform website, and other communication channels.
Submitted videos are subject to moderation. If a video does not meet the established quality and content standards, it may be declined without granting Platform access.
8. Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following is prohibited on the Platform:
- publishing or distributing content that contains misinformation, hate speech, obscenity, violence, or discrimination;
- creating fake profiles or portfolios with content that does not belong to the author;
- using the Platform for spam, phishing, or any other harmful activities;
- entering into agreements that contradict the laws of your country.
Violations of these rules may result in restrictions or suspension of your account — without prior notice and without obligation to provide an explanation.
You can report other users or content (e.g. messages, portfolio items) for reasons such as harassment, spam, inappropriate behavior, or scam. You can also block users to hide their content and prevent contact. We use reports for moderation and may restrict or suspend accounts as appropriate.
9. Changes and Termination
We reserve the right to modify these rules at any time. Continued use of the Platform after the publication of updated rules constitutes your agreement to the changes.
You may delete your account through your Profile settings. After deletion, your data will be handled in accordance with the current Privacy Policy.
